About Laura Lawrence Wilcock

My Mission: Your Success

What goals would you pursue if you knew you could not fail? What core values guide and direct you? What current habits or fears might be holding you back? My mission, as your life coach, is to help you realize your full potential as you clarify your dreams and goals. I welcome the opportunity to work with people who are ready to move forward, challenge themselves and grow. Here are some examples:

  • Professionals seeking change, life balance and personal growth

  • Entrepreneurs launching a new business idea

  • Young Professionals seeking clarity and purpose

  • Empty nesters contemplating their next chapter

  • Parents seeking better relationships with their children

  • College students searching for direction and guidance

  • High School Students wanting to define their edge

  • Feeling the fear and doing it anyway

  • Individuals seeking to explore their faith and spirituality

  • Those who have lost a loved one or have experienced another type of grief

Throughout my career, I have held numerous leadership positions in the corporate and non-profit world. These experiences have enabled me to motivate and empower adults and young adults to move purposefully forward. How different would your life be if you explored and followed your own path to your North Star? What if you identified and pursued your vision? Where would you like to be one year from now? Vision leads to fruition for those who take the first step. If you want an enthusiastic partner and trusted confidant to walk with you toward a life of more meaning and purpose, I would be honored to work with you.

To your success,

Laura Lawrence Wilcock

Experience

Laura is an ICF Trained, Certified Professional Life Coach, Group Coach, Life Strategist, Entrepreneur, Visionary and Philanthropist who is passionate about inspiring people to find purpose, meaning, and joy in their personal and professional lives. Laura is also a Certified Grief Coach and Grief Recovery Specialist who has the desire and experience to help people find hope in the storm and move forward through grief and loss of any type.

After graduating from The University of Texas, Laura moved to NYC to pursue her career as a buyer for Saks Fifth Avenue, ultimately running a multimillion-dollar business for the nationwide company.  Living in London, England, with her husband Tom for six years afforded Laura the opportunity to experience and better understand diverse backgrounds and cultures, thus enhancing her global perspective. Laura also became intimately involved with numerous volunteer organizations, but her greatest accomplishment was, and remains, becoming a mother and, together with Tom, raising their two children.

She served as Senior Warden of Saint Luke's Parish, Darien, CT, during the 150th Anniversary of the Church in 2005 and served as the Co-Chair of the Forward in Faith Campaign, 2008-2010. Laura was the driving force and implementor of the Godly Play curriculum, 1998 - present, and the visionary behind the highly successful contemporary evening service, Come As You Are, 2005-present.

Laura also recognizes specific needs within her community and loves to collaborate with people to bring a vision to life.  She co-founded Soul Sisters in 2008, a weekly non-denominational bible study for women wanting to learn more about their faith.  Laura created the website, Soul Sisters International,  bringing the concept of the Soul Sisters community to all and sharing God's unconditional love, one soul at a time.

Having launched their children from college, Laura felt called to expand her coaching practice with additional formal training and certification studies from the world-renowned Christian Coach Institute and Gratitude to Grief Coaching, both certified by the International Coaching Federation. She is also certified by The Grief Recovery Method.  Laura founded North Star International Life and Leadership Coaching in 2014 to offer her 35 years of life and leadership experience through life coaching.

Love what you do! In keeping with her value of giving back, Laura is honored to donate a portion of her proceeds to Be the Blessing and World Vision, empowering women and girls.
